Please take it as it is: just another tournament with
less games. Almost all can happen in such tournaments.
If you look at our "5moves 2004 Tournament" (90m+30s)
http://www.utzingerkurt.com/5moves.htm
you will find in one serie (over 7 games) Fritz8 as
winner, in the next serie the same engine at last place.
And the same thing occurred to most of the engines in the
still running tournament (once good and the other time bad
results). Any tournament contains a great margin of error
with regard to Elo/results and the less games are played
the less reliable is the outcome. In any case: we should
never make wrong conclusions from only one tournament.
