Either ChessBase erred or he has another rating, simple, yes? peter just pointed out, quite correctly, that SMK has a 1900 german rating. he does *not* have a 2250 rating, and i am pretty certain that chessbase never wrote that. of course they advertise on their site, but do they lie? i don't think so. since SMK is german, this 1900 is his official rating, and he has no other rating that chessbase could have referred to. i really don't know what your problem is - peter just corrected your false statement, and backed up his correction with an official rating, and you call him arrogant?? cheers martin
