Even if the OS could tell the real from the fake cpus, how is it supposed to know what to schedule where? This can never work as intended. PS. I don't own Pentium 4's, so I can't verify whether it's really fixed in Windows 2003 Server. But it has functions to determine HT cpus and such, so I'd be surprised if it wasn't. IIRC I've seen reports that it was, too. -- GCP
