No I don't think the PII 300 scales perfectly and would equal my PIII 600. It is
the lowest mhz machine I own currently though.

Also I never abused Sarah's list at all. I am simply demonstrating that Ruffian
2.0.0 is _not_ 100 elo points stronger than Ruffian 1.0.5 as some have said
here. I have played many games at longer time controls to prove it. Crafty has
become much stronger since version 18.13, while Ruffian in my opinion has _not_
improved as advertised. There is very little rating difference between Riffian
1.0.5 and Ruffian 2.0.0. My games and Sarah's point in that direction. That was
my own reference to her list.

Sarah's games are game in 60, while mine are 120 mins + 30 seconds per move or
90 mins + 10 seconds per move. Crafty simply has outplayed Ruffian in almost
every game.

When Ruffian 1.0.1 came out, and was found to be stronger than all the other
freeware programs, everyone and their dog was using it on the chess servers like
ICC and FICS. Now that Ruffian 2.0.0 has come out, I can barely find it to play
against due to the results that everyone has posted.

There was some _very_ bad advertising in promoting Ruffian 2.0.0 and if I was
the consumer I would definately be requesting my money back.

Peter.
