Does the program do "position learning"?  If so, did you clear it before you
started the test?

I do this so many times, I have black and blue marks all over my butt where I
kick myself everytime I debug something that is not broken, because I forget
about the position.bin file in crafty that will carry a search value from one
run to the next, invisibly.  :)
