I won't go into details, but remember "timestamp" runs on your _local_ computer.
If you unplug your network connection at the right instant, you can think for an
hour and when you connect back up, that time appears to be "lag" to ICC.  There
is no solution for some of this, other than a little integrity and honesty,
which some seem sorely lacking in.
