Hi Dan I dont know any official ELO figures but I used to like using Gothmog as a test program to play against my program, it was almost competitive for a while. Tord has spoilt it totally now though :-), the latest version beats me by about 10 to 1 if I am lucky ! Here is a game position from yesterday, I thought I was in with a good chance in this game [d]5rk1/rbp3pp/3pqp2/2p5/p1P3P1/R2B4/1BP2Q1P/1K4R1 w - - 4 31 Gothmog (white) threw its bishop away with Bxh7+, then went on to crush my program pretty quickly afterwards !
