Book.bin is now 5.4M verses the old size of 12.8M. Books.bin and bookc.bin have increased in size a bit. What happened? They are all dated 12/16/2003. I started a 5 minute blitz tournament a couple of weeks ago with Crafty 17.14, Crafty 19.4 (Corbit), and Crafty 19.8(Corbit) along with several other engines. Using the old 12.8 meg book, after 484 games, 19.8 is 23 and 33 ELO behind the other two respectively. Are these new books required for 19.8? Thanks for any info Dave
