I presume you are refering to the old disk version.
The old Hiarcs 6.0 disk version had a copy protection scheme which only allowed
for installation from floppy disk 99 times!!
Did you not try to reinstall from the master floppy disk?
Why did this not succeed? Error no etc?
Who did you send your disk back too the first time?
We have always replaced faulty disks FOC. Who charged you?
What did they charge you?


BTW The CD-ROM versions (Hiarcs 6 and Hiarcs 7) allow infiinite installations
and
are happy running in the following OSs: DOS 3.1 onwards, Win 3.1(.1), Win95,
WIn98
and WindowsNT (all assume a CD-ROM drive of course!).
