Well I do not make a good income from HIARCS, okay for a hobby yes, but certainly very poor when measured against the hours I have put into it. I have been working on Hiarcs for 11 years now and have not tired of it yet, so I have'nt found a new market yet, sure I have a full time job unrelated to chess programming but then I have a wife and family and we kind of like to eat regularly ;-) >> >>Sincerely, >> >>T.J.F. > >I do not like and will not buy a program that has stupid copy protection, best >way to protect a game is to make the disk hard to copy, and when you run the >program you have to place either the disk or better still a cd-rom in the drive >to run the program. You do not even own Hiarcs 6 and also have made statements about the CP which are false therefore your statement above is plainly uninformed and incorrect. Please do not make such generalisations without checking your facts. Mark.
