Hi David,

Reading your post, it seems I have managed to offend you somehow. If
this is indeed the case, I apologize.

I *am* still an amateur in every sense of the word, and I will always remain
so. I am not even among the best amateurs. I also don't want to exclude
anyone to make statements or ask questions. On the contrary I try to do my
best to answer all questions, and I enjoy participating in all sorts of
discussions about my own and other engines.

I don't play as much on ICC as I would like, because the machine I use are
used for too many other tasks. During the limited time I spend there, I
therefore prefer to give the highest priority to human opponents and
other programmer-operated computer accounts.

If you want to discuss my engine and its games with me, you are welcome
to play your own games and mail me the games together with comments,
questions, analysis, criticism, praise or whatever you want. I love
this kind of feedback, and I am very grateful to the many friendly
users who send me this kind of stuff. I always try to answer such
e-mails, even if my replies are not always as quick as they should
have been.

Tord
