i think you are being unfair to Mike. He does not have to be some kind of
philosopher-king just to police this place of **would-be** crooks. I feel pretty
sure that the rules are generally laxly enforced here and everybody who screws
up gets a pretty fair shake.
BTW Mssrs. Quisinsky and the rest of the Ruffian team have made great
contributions to the board in my opinion. How many of us have gotten free copies
of R_1.05 or SOS_4 or bitboard tables for Patzer because these persons post here
and we use them as a resource.
It is far-fetched and even insulting to compare their contributions to the
actual flagrant behavior of an office-manager for a competing software vendor
who impersonates a satisfied customer from that vendor and posts selling links.
We all know who Frank Quisinsky really is and we are glad he is here. But I do
not understand why it is important for Mike to draw a line in the sand right
now. We can all prety much recognize when a rule is violated so flagrantly that
it threatens the future operation of this board without each of us pretending to
be 'super-cop.'
