Yes

If white can win the f6 pawn thanks to some zugzwang then
white may try to play for mate later by trying to push black king to the last
rank.

defending the pawn h3 and defending against mate may be too much for black and
white may win the pawn h3 and later the game.

The evaluation of Yace suggest that it probably can see after deep search that
white can win a pawn.

Unfortunately I do not have the KRP vs KBP tablebases to verify if white usually
wins without the pawn f6.
