Hi,

IIRC you asked me some days ago (via mail) for the configuration files for The
King 3.23 in Arena GUI.

In the configuration files I've sent to you my Wb2Uci.eng file includes another
line for setting hash size: "HashCommand=cm_parm tts=%i004096"

Did you change this line to "HashCommand=cm_parm tts=33554432 ttu=7" ? Why ?

With my configuration of Wb2Uci.eng I've no problems to set the hash size for
The King engine inside of Arena GUI - without editing any configuration files
before engine loading.

But okay, it's up to you...

Manfred

Remark: The Arena GUI shows only 1 or 2 MB Hash in the first analyses line in
case you're using an engine with Wb2Uci adapter (1 or 2 MB for the Wb2Uci
adpater itself).
But of course The King engine is able to use the hash size I've set in "Engine
Management (UCI) - Common hashtable size": after decreasing hashsize: without
(Re)start engine, after reduzing hash size: after (Res)start engine.
But only with my line "HashCommand=cm_parm tts=%i004096" in Wb2Uci.eng.
