I know when I installed all the CIR software, there were license codes required for each Informant collection (i.e. 1-40, 41-75, 76-80, etc). And there was a license code required for the reader itself. Once I had all these entered, I exported every game to PGN format, and then wrote the small program on www.chessassistance.com to convert the Informant PGN tags to Chess Assistant ones. The same thing can be accomplished for Chessbase, but you need to do a little research to find out how the codes need to be converted. Or you can just use the PGN as it is, but you will find some strange characters/codes therein. Bob
