Games were played on either a 542 Celeron 128 RAM or a 450 PIII 256 Ram
Win 98SE, Chessbase Gui, 32 MB Ram, 3,4 some 5 man tablebases, Ponder off
All Games were 5 min Blitz.
Books used were: 2600.ctg,2700ctg,2700ArturoOchoactg,Fritz7.ctg,10moves.ctg
Some different parameters were used:
ChessTiger15 normal and gambit
Fritz was both 8008 and 80023
Shredder 7.04 was default and Haddad1.2DP5
The King was default and ran some games with no opk number
Those games were excluded from the count
THE RANKINGS
1 Fritz 8 60.1% 77.5/129
2 Shredder 7.04 58.1% 75/129
3 Deep Junior 8 54.3% 70/129
4 Deep Fritz 8 53.9% 69.5/129
5 Junior 8 50.8% 65.5/129
6 Hiarcs 9 50.4% 65/129
7 Chess Tiger 15 49.2% 63.5/129
8 Deep Fritz 7 48.8% 39.5/81
9 The King 3.23 46.5% 40/86
10 Ruffian 2.0 40.7% 46/113
Based on these games I will conclude in my opinion that Shredder default
is stronger than Haddad1.2DP5 and that Chess tiger 15 is stronger as Gambit.
This is by no means clear proof of anything except my willingness to play and
post the results of these games for your enjoyment.
