Hello Bob, what Kurt meant is "size of *.eng file is not important", because this file is only an interface between the GUI and the real engine file *.dll! (this ENG-file didn´t change (in size) since Shredder 5) But also the size of the DLL (i.e. the engine itself) is not really important - at least in the sense of ´playing strength´ - because it can change dramatically when using an other compiler (or even other compiler settings) without having change a single byte! So now it´s your turn (to become a programmer) - I´m waiting for your engine! :) Best regards, Franz.
