Here's where I use a variation board and why I like it....
When doing a very deep ply positional analysis that last for several hours, I
can sporadically check on how the pv is going and why. If I get to an acceptable
answer about a position several hours early, I can stop my work. The graphic
capability helps with that. And since I should not be using competing resources
on the machine doing the analysis, what else should really be available to look
at?
