I have all my tablebases in D:\Chess\Nalimov, and there is my rc file: tbpath=D:\Chess\Nalimov adaptive 800K 12M 48M 6M 24M cache=16M log=off show book resign=9 kibitz=1 whisper=2 exit The adaptive command is great because you can set a maximum amount of ram to use for hash and hashp and a minimum at the same time. The 800K is the average nodes that your computer searches. I just looked online after a few games, and saw that 800K was a good average to adjust it to. It is only an estimate, you don't have to be exact. Peter.
