I created the book.bin with the command book create 60 10 60, the books.bin with books create 60, and the bookc.bin is the same from the Crafty ftp. The source pgn that I used was a collection of Crafty games (from the ftp), the enormous.pgn from the crafty ftp, I had a bot logged onto ICC for about 5 months that collected games from the GM/IM and high rated bots playing there. I then collected games from This Week In Chess (TWIC) website, merged it all together, removed duplicates and filtered out alot of junk with scid, and then created the book. I hope that answers your questions. Overall I think I have made a very good book. Peter.
