This is right and I like it too!
Very nice the way from SOS programmer Rudolf Huber for an second example!

If you look in Rudolf's history you can see that he released ~ 1x in the year a
new SOS version (other versions are bugfix versions). For users which have
interest to test a lot of programs it's maybe better if not every months comes a
new version. I losed my interest if I play a long time tournament and after the
tournament are five new versions of the same program are available. But this is
my private opinion. Much user like this ...

The reason for the difference from Ruffian 2.0.0 and Ruffian Leiden are small
changes and the UCI playing levels. You know that a small changes can be a
reason for better results or not.

We gave two new Ruffian versions on the CD and users can try booth versions of
Ruffian.

For me the way is right!

Here I have an other opinion.
Beta, Alpha, Pre-Release, version 1.1a and so on is not interesting.

Interesting is alone:
Ruffian (date) with X for experimental and all is clear!
My private opinion too.
