i am trying to find out which palm is the best for me for chess. IMO the Tungsten T3 is bad because 1. it costs 349 Euro, that is related to the mhz and the hardware you get IMO too much. 2. the display gives a high frequency sound that is annoying 3. the batterie time is SMALL. IMO the palm zire21 could be a better in between solution: 1. it costs only 99 Euro, that is a big difference to the 349 of the tungsten 2. it has 128 mhz and ARM CPU, which is at least 8 times faster then my todays palm with 16 mhz. 3. it has a b/w display, but i do not need a color for chess (my older palm has a b/w too and for my purposes this is enough). Also i think the b/w color eats not so much energy. 4. the lower energy usage (< mhz) and (<display) gives more energy power. maybe for me the zire21 is the better palm. Has anyone here experience with the zire 21 ? shall i wait for another palm ?
