I really would not want to be a "referee" that looks at lots of source. But we might find a group of volunteers and let each take responsibility for one or two programs, excepting the obvious cases like (say) Crafty, where the source is public and _anybody_ can verify whether it will play the moves seen in CCT6, etc... But we do need to do something. There are some suspicious amateurs on ICC that might show up for CCT-6...
