So, guys, have you heard about this ? The 30. january 04, Chessbrain will try to set "world record" in number of computers playing the same game. The brain will play against the danish grandmaster Peter Heine Nielsen, here in Denmark. How is your view on this ? I think I read some time ago that it's very difficult to achieve high performance in distributed chess, and Chessbrain is a young project. Nielsen will surely win, right ? I got an e-mail today from SSLUG, which is the Skåne-Sealand Linux User group, where they invite the members to support the project and download the software, so there will hopefully be several thousand computers running at the 30. www.chessbrain.net Martin.
