Another interesting thing about the unit is the opening book. It is 1 move deep and seems to consist of 6 choices. It plays either the moves d5,e5,c5,Nf6,g6,c6 as black regardless of the white first move. d5 is the most popular, followed by e5 etc. c6 is really quite rare. It plays the first 4 choices above as white and may play the other 2, so it basically makes the same moves from either side of the board regardless of what is played. John Coffey P.S. I really like the idea of a calculator size/style chess computer. Now if they just make one that has a decent program.
