My name is very unusual and yet I know that there are several people with my name in the USA. My name is Robert Henry Durrett but I go as Bob Durrett. There is a Bob Durrett listed by the United States Chess Federation, USCF, but it's not me. There are at least ten Robert Durretts in the USA who do not play chess. For a common name like "Fred Wilson" or "John Jones," there are, I suspect, dozens of them. Maybe hundreds. The key is to compare the individual's bulletins to the requirements of the charter. If they comply, then there can be no complaint even if the guy is Satan in the flesh! It would be nice, of course, if all our bulletins could be brilliant gems of wisdom but that's expecting a little too much. My bulletins are a little bit dumb sometimes too! : ) Compliance with the charter is all that is required. Bob D.
