I am sure that Greenlight Chess 3.x will play -> Tim Foden is operating himself,
so no doubt that he will use the best he can.

Rybka is new to me also -> the author asked some questions some postings
earlier... seems to be an UCI-Engine

> Tohno*

Tohno is part of a Java-Project - try it here: http://tohno.steneskog.se

> Homer*

Homer is written by Daniel Mehrmann - the guy is also well known for publishing
enhanced versions of WinBoard.

> Chompster

That's also a well known guy - playing for a long time now at ICC. The program
is written in JAVA IIRC. He has also played at CCT-5.. You may take a look here:
http://www.vrichey.de/cct5/

> Rascal

it's playing around at ICC since longer, using the ChessPartner-Interface. I did
some testmatches against it with Quark - it seems that the book is quite strong,
but the engine is still somewhat behind the book... (At least that was my last
experience)

> SpiderChess

SpiderChess did play several times at the CSVN-Open and at the Dutch Open...

> Zappa

Program by Anthony C. (can't remember the full second name) - he did post
several times here at CCC in the past. Seems that he have made impressive
progress lately.

> BlackBishop

BlackBishop is the new name of the well known winboard engine Holmes by Andreas
Herrman. You might take a look at http://www.wbholmes.de/

> Chepla all seems

I think I have read somewhere something about it, but I can't really remember...
it's new to me too...
