Subject: Hiarcs 7 and X-mode (questions to Mark!)

If I have understood right Hiarcs still needs special X-mode boot to big
hash tables. So there's 2 questions:

1) Why does it need X-mode - other DOS programs as Rebel, Mchess work fine
with any memory manager? Can't You change compiler or...

2) Is it 100 % sure, that X-mode is working with all new motherboard, CPU, RAM
combinations?
