And yet, according to this contest, Crafty is one of the strongest of all
Winboard chess programs. Indeed, only 4 freely available amateur programs
finished ahead of Crafty in this arduous contest.
There is good news. Crafty is an open source project. If you wish, you can
repair this serious tactical shortfall yourself.
