Hi Jon, > i wish your engine "all the best for CCT6" :)) Thank you, I will try my best... :) > you are still updating your engines? Quark public version is too old. of course I do, Quark is still under steady progress... I do not update to often, that is correct - since two years I do not have enough time for my homepage to keep it up to date. Anyway, in the winboard forum I gave from time to time a link to a beta version, the most recent version is v2.05 and can be downloaded under the following link: http://www.quarkchess.de/quark/Quark205.zip It's possible that I might publish another version after IPCCC 2004 at Paderborn in February (http://www.uni-paderborn.de/~IPCCC/) , depends a bit in the result... There are also other reasons for not publishing so often, lately it seems that interest is a bit lost in new versions when I take a look on my FTP-statistics when I publish versions. So I want to be absolutely sure that the engine is a) improved and b) offers some new options for the users... Another problem is also the readme file - for an official release I want to have a good and readable readme - that is in german already big work, but in english with my limited knowledge about that language it is a pain... :) Greets, Thomas
