Technically it is possible, unless the memory requirements of OS 6 are too big for the current Palm OS units. Whether Palm actually releases a downloadable version of OS 6 for install on OS 5 units is another question. It is possible that they will not offer a download, in order to make as many people as possible buy the new Palms.
