The below statement is not true - install the Fritz 8 update from CBM#97 and you will find that your Fritz version is now 8.0.26 (and yes, that does correct the e4 capture bug that was posted here before). A nice bonus for subscribers. Tecnically your conclusion is correct though - you do not get it for free.
