Even if it can be proven that the games played perfectly would be draws, we will never know if the appointed programs would have played them that way. Suggestion for KKUP 3: 1. Have three operators for each program for each game. All do the calculation and both send in the suggested move. Obviously they would need the same setup as far as opening book and endgame tablebase files. Use a two out of three vote for which move to make, if they differ. If all are different, something is fishy, anyway. 2. If any operator fails to produce at least 10 moves in a month, they get canned and replaced. Just some notions. Obviously, it's not my tournament.
