Sorry, but I don't understand...

"use the chessbase engine as gambit" (How?)

"use the uci as a normal shredder 8" (How?)

As we know...
It won't allow importing the UCI engine into Shredder 8 CB GUI unless a
parameter is changed. It just says that it already exists. So the only way is to
import it with the gambit settings, as described in an earlier post. That gives
only 2 engines: the native, and the imported uci gambit.
