3' blitz games, even on today hardware makes no sense.
the programs play very louse when they come into time trouble.
all the 20-30 moves or more they played before are irrelevant in the last 1
minute of the blitz game. they give away pawns, pieces, mates, draws and and
and.

if this is the chess you like, chess more like a game where you can have luck
and you win, than use these time controls. i prefer time controls where the
programs have a certain search depth an the blunder moves reduce to a certain
degree that the data is worth watching.

but you can prefer your data of course.
if you like those games where the last blunder is a function of the few seconds
computation ?
