In looking at the sizes of the tablebases (outpacing the growth of the average hard drive), it seems the biggest issues are: 1) Building them. 2) Making them accessible. It would be far from a speedy solution, but has anyone done feasibility tests on using web services or SOAP to query the database over the internet? For Mr. Hyatt, Mr. Theron, Gian-Carlo, et.al., do you see this type of "online knowledge" being of any use in the future, or would latency just make any benefit moot? Brian
