I want to apologize afetr following my procedures outlined below
I too, did indeed end up with an empty new database...sorry.

I have been searching for 2 hours to find an answer to your
question to no avail. It would seem like Chessbase would have this capability
doesn't it. Maybe the books are not full games so it is not possible.
