In past GNUchess has filled this role. Despite Dann's reservations it proved more than a worthy opponent for many of us. I suppose the question is what strength of opposition it is right to have ready to step in: average, above average or weak. I see no reason to not include Olithink this time - assuming no other candidates wanted to enter but also missed the deadline. Frank
