I am very sure most programmers do not like to be listed with adress, phone
numbers and so on. I have had my phone number once in a shareware diep version
that was put on 10+ million cdroms. In fact it was a very old diep version, they
just put it at a cdrom, i didn't know that you can put freeware and shreware
without asking the author on a cdrom just like that. So they sometimes phoned me
sunday night 11 PM. When it is about search, parallel search, evaluation or
something that isn't a problem even, but most are asking for a 386 version or
DOS version of DIEP or something similar. That's not so nice.

Imagine when Frans Morsch gets listed here. He will be phone-spammed.

Right now i receive daily about 150 spam emails and sometimes that's double but
never less. This despite that i have a spam and anti4us filter turned on at my
ISP. So who knows how many still get kept away from me. Probably the swami
spamming that lately happened to all chess authors has been filtered like that,
i received none :)

So on behalf of many programmers i am sure we do not want to get listed.

If you want to know something, you can always email me or chat live.

Thank you,
Vincent
