It seems he came just a little bit late - so what? I am of course not the one, organizing this, but it seems not too hard, to allow a late comer. Often (say on conferences) last-minute participants have to pay a higher fee. For Olithink, that fee could be, to demand from the author and/or operator to write a little report about the tourney (for example on CCC). >2. Exactly. Sure, there was enough time to participate and write to Volker in time. But if it didn't happen (for whatever reasons), and if there are really no serious reasons against a late comer (say, it would give much more workload to the organizer), and if it is something not so common (2% of all engines seems not very common), one should IMHO not make a fuzz about it, and just accept Olithink. One additional "provisional" engine in case of odd number of participants should be no problem at all. Regards, Dieter
