I don't know what the problem is, only how to avoid it. Logic would dictate it's not a Windows problem but a Chessbase program problem since we have completely different hardware and different operating systems. Don't hold your breath asking Chessbase what the problem could be because they will blame Microsoft.... To take this one step further.......this does NOT happen to me when using the Shredder Classic GUI after a long game analysis and under exactly the same conditions. I play all games manually so it appears not to be an auto232 problem either......... Best I can do Mike.
