It could be a defense mechanism set up by Tim. When I was moderator at CTF, we
had problems with some members who began posting enormous texts, and in one case
an entire book. Steve explained that one of the possible consequences of this
might be that others might be prevented from posting to the forum for a full 24
hours, as the ISP has a daily quota on the amount permitted. This had never been
brought up as no one actually anticipated this sort of problem.
