I found that the given best move Rh1 is inferior to Bxe3. Here is my main line. 1...Bxe3 2.Nc3 [2.dxe3 Rh1 3.Rxh1 g2 4.Bd4 gxh1Q+ 5.Kd2 Rxd4+ 6.Kc3 Qh3 7.Qc1 Rd8 8.Kb2 Bxg4 9.Bxg4+ Qxg4 10.Qc2 Qf6+ 11.Nc3 Qf3 12.Re1 Rd3 13.b4 Qg2 14.Re2 Qxc3+ 15.Qxc3 Qxe2+ 16.Qc2 Rd2 17.Qxd2 Qxd2+ 18.Kb1 Qxe3 19.b5 Qd2 20.bxc6 bxc6 21.a3 e3 22.c5 e2 23.f5 e1Q#] 2...Bf2+ 3.Kd1 Bxg1 4.Qc1 e3 5.gxf5 Rxd2+ 6.Qxd2 exd2 7.f6 Qxf6 8.Kc2 Bd4 9.Bg4+ Kd8 10.Bf3 10.Ne2 Qg6+ 11.f5 Qxg4 12.Bxd4 Rh2 13.Rd1 Qe4+ 14.Kc3 Qxe2 15.Kc2 Qe4+ 16.Kc3 Qg4 17.Rxd2 Rxd2 18.Be3 Re2 [18...Rxa2 19.Kd3 Qxf5+ 20.Kc3 c5 21.Bxc5 Rc2+ 22.Kd4 g2 23.Be7+ Kxe7 24.b4 g1Q#] 19.Kb4 Rxa2 20.Kc3 c5 21.b4 Qe2 22.Bg5+ Kd7 23.bxc5 Ra3+ 24.Kd4 Rd3# I found no line starting with Rh1 that would give mate in 24 with optimal play by white. I think theory should be changed on this and Bxe3 be considered best move. Chris Hull
