You can use the zippy password command to send command directly to your engine using the ICS tell command. ex: "tell Movei YOUR_PASSWORD go" will make winboard send "go" to the remote engine. This is the zippy' readme paragraphe about it: -zippyPassword string If someone does an ICS "tell" to xboard that begins with this password, it will type the same string back as a command with the password stripped off. For example, if the password is !%%! and xboard sees the string "Darooha tells you: !%%!shout Hi there", it will type the command "shout Hi there" to the ICS. This feature is disabled if the option is not set. >Suppose that there is a power failure in my computer and not in Luis computer. >What happens. > >Does it mean that the program stops to run in Luis computer. > >Note that local power failures is a practical problem in the office that I use >my computer. > >Usually it does not happen in the hours that the cct runs but it happened in the >last weeks some times(I did not count how many times it happened but I guess >that it happened average time of 3 times per week) so I guess that it is better >if Luis has full control of the program and I will only watch. > >Uri
