Yes. It's more up to date than I keep my own anti-virus software.

Is the url I used last time, but something newer may be at symantec. I usually
google and surf in, though.

Since you already have Norton, and keep it up to date, I believe you should be
able to just d/l a new viral definition file, however, and if so, that would
certainly be the better way to go, for continued good protection.

If it's not a virus/worm/ etc., I'd look at any other software or services
you're running concurrently with the chess program when it fails.

If the chess program locks up Windows even when running alone - you'll have to
look to Chessbase for help. IMO
