Is he still going? > >jm I stopped generating databases about half a year ago, since I believe I now have the ones most interesting for chess: RPxRP, QPxQP, RPxBP, RPxNP, PPPxR, PPPxB, QPPxQ, RPPxQ (plus of course all endgames derivable from the above by pawn promotion) The size of all of them together is about 0.5 T. Some information about these has appeared in various places on the net and endgame journals. -Marc
