I can't tell you how Johan determines perpetual check inside The King. But I can
tell you that it finds that Rxh2 is a draw very quickly. Here are the top five
moves as listed by the SKR personality on a P4-2.4 after 2 seconds:

Time	Depth	Score	Positions	Moves
0:02	1/8	-3.56	490764 47...Rg2 48.h3 Rf8 49.Qe7+ Rf7
					50.Qe6 Rgf2 51.Qxa6 R2f5+ 52.Kg4
					Rf4+ 53.Kg3 Bf2+ 54.Kh2 Rxh4
0:01	1/7	-2.72	210618 47...Ra2 48.Qg6+ Kf8 49.Qxa6 Rxh2
					50.Qd6+ Kg8 51.Qe6+ Rf7 52.Qe8+
					Kg7 53.Qe6
0:01	1/7	-2.54	231865 47...Rb2 48.Qg6+ Kf8 49.Qd6+ Ke8
					50.Qxa6 Kd7 51.h3 Rf5+ 52.Kg6
0:01	1/7	-2.30	300530 47...Rff2 48.a5 Rf6 49.Qd7+ Rf7
					50.Qg4+ Kf8 51.Qc8+ Ke7 52.Qb7+
					Kf6 53.Qxa6+ Ke7
0:01	1/7	0.00	178906 47...Rxh2 48.Qg6+ Kf8 49.Qd6+ Ke8
					50.Qe6+ Kd8 51.Qd6+ Kc8 52.Qc6+
					Kb8 53.Qb6+ Kc8 54.Qc6+

As you can see, it has already determined that Rxh2 is a draw after a 7-ply
search. Up until that discovery, Rxh2 was the best move, with an eval of -3.7.
