That's true, Bob. On the other hand, there's one other factor in my case, which
may or may not be rational. Even if the Fritz GUI were fixed, I like to run
engines in the GUI they were designed for. I have several UCI engines on my PC,
but I prefer to run them in Arena. I use Fritz for the native engines. I'm
afraid that the adaptor is making false translations over which I have no
control. Am I being paranoid? Maybe. But whatever the reason, when both versions
exist, I'd rather have the Chessbase native version of List 5.12 than the UCI
version.
