Crafty is not cannon-fodder for _any_ program in the world given equal hardware. This was a very good result for Ruffian, as the margin of error now appears to be diminishing. Again, Ruffian's 63% against the latest, tactically very aware, Crafty, is simply excellent. My own tests with ver. 19.8 inidicate a slightly bigger margin, +108, after more than 300 games (under Winboard too), but then I had the games played on a very fast machine which might have caused the difference.
