If the wrong pairings were played, the noise would have been even worse than it was. But in the future, a procedure ought to be in place to deal with that situation. One thing that might help would be not to start the games prior to the start time, as many were doing. We also might want to wait for the TD to verify things and to give the "go" signal. Will
